Rosemary Worthy-Washington, the President and Founder of Healed With Scars, was severely burned in 1986. She endured over a hundred surgeries, learned how to walk again and dealt with the trials and tribulations that are attached to a face with burn injury. Rosemary overcame all odds and now lives to help others from her own personal experiences. After reading Bishop David G. Evans book Healed Without Scars, Rosemary learned that the tragedies we experience do not have to be the blueprint of our lives. In the year 2016, Rosemary has lived 30 years with facial scarring.
In 2015, Rosemary Worthy-Washington published her first book, Exposed: I Will Not Be Ashamed. You can purchase the book on Amazon where it is available in paperback or for Kindle.

Book Overview
In a world where beauty, sensuality, sexuality and finances have always been relevant, Exposed: I Will Not Be Ashamed speaks on experiences that help build character and trust in God. Proverbs 31 speaks of the virtuous woman. It speaks of her wisdom, skills and compassion, which come from her reverence of God. The physical appearance of the woman in Proverbs 31 is never mentioned. Her attractiveness comes from her character. Exposed: I Will Not Be Ashamed illustrates the rawness surrounding the shadow of death. You didn’t die, but the remnants of death are all around you. The scars on your face expose you. All the things that are relevant in a society that you were once a part of are now forever far away from you. Exposed: I Will Not Be Ashamed speaks about the reactions of people when trauma happens and the life change when you no longer feel like you fit into society.
